HP acquire 3Com for $2.7 Billion Dollars
HP expands Enterprise Networking Division
It was announced that HP are to acquire 3Com for $2.7 Billion Dollars in a move which will see HP expand its networking products division further in to the enterprise space. This move sets the stage for HP and Cisco to go head-to-head after Cisco recently announced the release of Blade and Rack mount server products.
HP and Cisco will now be fighting for the same business from opposite ends of the technology market so watch it space.
