Apple publishes iPhone Enterprise Deployment Guide for OS 3.0
Apple has published a guide to help you make the most of your iPhone when deploying it as a business tool. It details how you can manage a number of iPhones quickly and easily to make sure they only have the features available that your business requires.
Using the iPhone Configuration Utility you can create a universal profile for an iPhone that you can quickly apply to each phone in your organisation, this saves manually setting each device.
Using the same tool you can also disable elements of the phone such and youtube and appstore, if you just want users to focus on the work elements of the device.
Other options include automatically publishing apps to iPhones, even advice on how to publish apps you have developed specifically for your companies needs.
You can find the full document here http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/Enterprise_Deployment_Guide.pdf. If you would like more information on implementing this or wish to discuss any other feature available with the iPhone we would be happy to discuss this with you.
