Exinda Product Update 5.1 Available
Exinda Appliance Update v5.1 Available
For all users running Exinda Bandwidth Management Appliances update 5.1 (v5.10.9251) is available for immediate download and installation. A valid Software Subscription is required to complete this process.
Version 5.1 includes numerous enhancements and bug fixes but most significant are the Active Directory Support & New Web UI features.
About Microsoft® Active Directory Support
Exinda now supports integration with Microsoft® Active Directory (AD), further enhancing traffic and application visibility. With AD Support, Exinda customers can move away from IP Address and sub-net reporting, and view activity according to user and user group. In addition, policy can be set by user group regardless of whether they're associated with a sub-net.
About the Simplified User Interface
The addition of a Simplified User Interface to the login page offers an alternative to the existing interface for day to day management. The Basic Web UI allows simpler administration of the Exinda system for users who may not have extensive experience or training.
