have further extended the NetPilot functionality by introducing
the Advanced Reporting option. NetPilot Advanced reporting operates
using a third party web reporting tool which downloads and analyses
log files direclty from the NetPilot unit and allows Administrators
to generate reports on:
- Firewall
Activity
- E-Mail
Activity
- Web
Browsing Activity by Computer/User
- Web
Content Fitlering Activity
Each one of these report areas gives many different
sets of data and each set of data can be analysed and drilled
down in to, to get a high level of detail and virtually any way
required by the Administrator. In additional to this flexibility
all the reports can be filtered to only display relevant data
at the top level (e.g. by time period etc) giving Administrators
a greater level of control. Below are 2 simple examples of the
available reports with some in-depth information. (some information
has been obsucered for privacy reasons)
