Welcome to NETSupport Version 2.0



You have just logged in to the new and improved NETprotocol Support System and there are new features available to you. We have been listening to the feedback from our users and the following changes have been made:

  • File Attachments - File can now be attached to calls by clicking the "View / Add Files for this call" link. There is a limit of 2MB per file and if you are uploading large screenshots of errors or similar you may want to ZIP them first.
  • Status Change Improvements - If you now want to update a call to simply change the status to "Recommend Close" etc there will be no blank description posted and the status will simply change
  • E-Mail Notification Links - You will now receive HTML based e-mail from the Support System. Each e-mail will include a link to the individual call. If you are already logged on you will be taken directly to the call - If not you will be prompted for you username/password then continue straight to the call sheet. **
  • Call Searching Function - You can now search all your calls by Product / Keyword / Phrase for quick reference to previous fixes.

** Sites running MAILSweeper / MIMESweeper may want to put an exception in for mail from support@netprotocol.net if HTML Filtering / Stripping rules are in place.

E-Mail System Tester - If you wish to test your e-mail system you can send mail to autoreply@netprotocol.net. This will generate an automatic response therefore testing outbound & inbound internet e-mails. The usual server reponse time is less than 5 seconds
